Non-Majors

Not planning for a career in science, but interested in biotechnology anyway?  BIO 107, Introduction to Biotechnology is a 4 unit course designed to expose individuals to this fast growing and increasingly relevant field.  The course satisfies a portion of the Lab Science credit required for most humanities and social science degrees.  BIO 107 is especially appropriate for people planning careers in business or law who might one day be working with elements of the biotech industry.  As biotechnology increasing becomes part of high school and middle school curriculum, BIO 107 is also suited for those planning careers in education.
