HOMECOMING 2008

President Pan gathers with BioTechfriques at homecoming 2008.
BioTechfriques gathered on Saturday to help ClubTown celebrate Homecoming. Sports fans think the big event is the football game, which it might be, but the pre-event, the one with all the booths, activities and food is a general crowd pleaser as well.
Friques were honored to run the tetherball pole, a high energy activity that appealed to only the most physically fit. Club members buddy’d up with the folks from the Philosophy Club and the Environmental Action Club – two clubs we are planning future activities with.
The football team brought over a new class of recruits. “Go get some food and later we’ll get you into the game for free.” One of the coaches told the players before pointing them in the direction of the chow line.

The basketball team was also represented. The team posed for a group photo while waiting in the food line.
Later some football players walked over to the stadium, soon to be followed by even more football players. They must be trained to not respond to the media, for the players barely reacted to the abundance of photographers and reporters trying to get a quote before the game.
